Golden Eagles Field (Baseball)
Originally built in 1995 and fully renovated in 2020, Golden Eagles Field sits on the southwest side of campus, just behind the Borland Manske Center. The upgrades transformed the facility into one of the premier baseball venues in the PacWest.
The 2020 renovation introduced remodeled dugouts and enclosed batting cages accented with redwood paneling. Two-tiered benches inside the dugouts, modeled after major league stadiums, give players and coaches a clear view of the action. Behind home plate, a modern black netting system replaced the traditional backstop, allowing fans to watch the game from the same level as the catcher for an immersive experience.
Golden Eagles Field seats 400 fans in the bleachers, including 96 premium green chairback seats beside the press box. Additional viewing options include open lawn sections along the first- and third-base lines, perfect for standing or bringing lawn chairs, as well as balcony spaces at the BMC overlooking the outfield for special events.
The facility also features enclosed batting cages, designated bullpen areas for both teams, and an on-site clubhouse for the Eagles baseball team. Convenient parking is located nearby at the campus’s back entrance.
On game days, fans can enjoy concessions and Concordia Baseball merchandise behind the third-base dugout. Wireless internet and Live Stats coverage keep supporters connected throughout the game. The outfield flagpole proudly displays the banner honoring Concordia’s 2011 NAIA National Championship.
Currently the area behind Golden Eagles Field is undergoing renovations to include our newest project “Vision 2025”. Vision 2025 includes an extensive renovation and expansion of the CU Center, as well as the construction of the new Golden Eagles Fitness & Training Center (GEFT).
Please note: If you are unable to attend any of our Golden Eagle home games our institution provides an official live stream, which can be purchased at: Live Stream.
