      Angela Sather may have only played two seasons at Concordia University, but her
impact on the women's basketball program continues to be felt over 10 years later.
Sather joined the Eagles prior to the start of the 1995-96 season and made
an immediate impact. She tallied two of top 10 individual scoring games in program
history during her junior season, including a 36-point outing against Azusa Pacific that still stands in a share for 7th place.
      Her leadership on the floor brought the Eagles just one win shy of a school
record as they posted a 24-8 mark and advanced to the semifinal round of the GSAC
Tournament. She also excelled in the classroom and was honored as a NAIA Scholar-
Athlete.
     Her senior season saw the Eagles reach heights not since reached by any
Eagle team since. Sather was named the 1997 GSAC Player of the Year after averaging
a school-record 21.4 points per game. She helped the team to a record 28 wins,
the GSAC regular season and tournament titles as well as just the third-ever trip to
the NAIA Tournament.
     While completing her degree in 1998, Sather played While completing her degree in 1998, Sather played one season with the Concordia volleyball team as an outside hitter.
     A two-time all-GSAC selection and two-time 3rd-team NAIA all-American,
Sather still holds seven top 10 places for single-game accomplishments, nine for
her career and 14 for a single season. The owner of five school records, Sather is
the Concordia single season leader in points per game, field goals attempted, free
throws made and attempted as well as steals.
