Few players have given more to their respective programs at Concordia University
than former player and current head coach Crystal Rosenthal. She got her
four-year Concordia career off to an impressive start as she became just the second
player in program history to be named to the all-Golden State Athletic Conference
team as a freshman.
She set the tone for a career that ended with a batting average over .300 by
hitting .344 during the 1997 season. She nearly repeated that mark during her junior
season by hitting .340. Her senior season was arguably her most productive as she
set career highs for hits, doubles, triples, runs batted in, extra-base hits, run scored
and total bases.
Her four years at Concordia left her name sprinkled all over the Concordia
history books. She holds four single-season top 10 marks and 10 other career marks
among the top 10 all-time, including 6th place marks in doubles, triples, RBIs and
multiple-hit games.

After Graduation

With her playing days behind her, Rosenthal joined head coach Frank Rizzo
as an assistant coach and has helped take the Concordia program to never-before
reached heights.
After serving for seven years as an assistant coach that included a 2006 National Championships appearance, Rosenthal took the reigns of the program in the summer of 2008.
