By 4:24 another Gerlach layup had CUI up 13, 65-52, and they made three throws to win from there.
"This was another good offensive team that we were able to defend against," CUI head coach Ken Ammann said. "We took what they gave us, they took the three, but we attacked the basket well. We showed great focus over here with our ability to get two wins in a tough environment. I am very proud of the effort we gave in these games."
What it Means: The Eagles now stand 7-1 on the season and 2-0 in the PacWest.
Up Next: Concordia will host Point Loma on Saturday for the first time since 2012 in their PacWest home opener.
