Concordia Alumni William Prado Signs With Local OC Blues FC

William Prado, 24, an Anaheim, CA native, played two seasons at Concordia University following two seasons at Long Beach City College. Prado, a 2011 and 2012 NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, finished his Concordia career with a school record 30 assists to go along with 20 goals. In 2011 Prado set the school single season record with 18 assists which was also tops in the NAIA that year. Will finished his Concordia career 6th all-time in points with 70. He was also a 2011 and 2012 All-GSAC First Team selection.
Prado is ecstatic to be back near his hometown, and ready to get the season started: "I love it. People say it's a dream come true to just play professional, but it's a bigger dream to play professional in your hometown. Orange County has the best weather and is just plain beautiful, I wouldn't want to play anywhere else. Hopefully I can continue playing here for many more years to come."
