The Rundown:  The Concordia Eagles were defeated by The Academy of Art, 58-81, in San Francisco on Wednesday night. 
 
The Difference:  Brittany Stafford put up 12 points for the Eagles while recording three blocs and nine rebounds.  Tyler Crockom added a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and also dished out seven assists.  The Eagles committed 25 turnovers, which converted to 27 points for the Knights.  The Knights rebounded well totaling 51 offensive and defensive combined.  They were able to add 32 points from second chances compared to the Eagles 13.
 
Critical Plays:  The Eagles led the game only once, 2-0, early in the first as Brittany Stafford started the scoring.  Gaby Johnson made a layup as the first period came to a close to help put the Eagles within five after being down by seven with under 20 seconds to go.  The Knights extended their lead in the second to 11 within the first minute and a half of play in the second period by the Eagles battled back with layups from Brittany Stafford, Tyler Crockom, and Zoe Goss.  The Knights led the Eagles 35-24 into the half.  In the third the Knights pulled away from the Eagles and never looked back.  With just under four minutes to go in the fourth the Knights led 81-47 and the Eagles were able to score 11 straight but couldn't overcome the deficit.  The final score was 81-58.
 
­What it Means:  The Eagles are now 2-14 overall and 1-10 in the PacWest.
