Men's Water Polo plays in first WWPA game of the year
The Eagles snapped their six-game losing streak at the Gary Troyer Tournament and hope to snag one more against Fresno Pacific.

Irvine, Calif. - The Concordia Men's Water Polo Team heads north to take on Fresno Pacific University in its first Western Water Polo Association game of the season. Concordia enters the game with an overall record of 4-10, while Fresno Pacific comes in with an overall record of 7-8 and 0-3 in the WWPA.
The Eagles look to stay hot after winning their final two games in the Gary Troyer Tournament last weekend. Concordia broke its six-game losing streak with wins over Cal Lutheran and Occidental.
Freshmen
Spencer Hosch scored four goals in the victory over the Tigers. Â
Jordan Salgado and
Matthew Lange followed up with four a piece in the overtime win against the Kingsmen.Â
The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds also competed in the Gary Troyer Tournament last weekend, winning three of their four games.
Reigning WWPA co-player of the week David Maes will lead the Sunbirds as they try to capture their first win in WWPA action. Maes is tied for first for most goals in the WWPA, putting away 41 shots.
The game is set for 12:00 pm on Saturday at the Sunnyside Aquatics Center in Fresno, Calif.Â
