After four games on the road in Hawaii, the Women's Soccer team flies home to Eagles Field for two conference games.
Concordia, 4-0-3 in PacWest play, is third in the conference after getting two wins and two ties in Hawaii. Although they have tied four games this year, the team remains undefeated.
The Eagles are led by Natalie Werner and McKenna Carrillo, whom have each scored four goals. Werner also has three assists in her team high 1,146 minutes played.
Jazmin Alvarez has not only been an anchor at goalie for the Eagles' defense, but leads the PacWest in save percentage (.887) and is second in goals allowed (6).
Concordia commences the home weekend Thursday against Dominican University of California.
The Penguins (4-2-2) are one point behind the Eagles in the PacWest, with 14 points to Concordia's 15.
Dominican is on a three game winning streak, and have not allowed a goal the last two matches.
Michelle Li has five goals this year and is tied for the third most in the conference. Keeper Alyssa Ramos shut out four teams this year.
Saturday, Concordia collides with Notre Dame De Namur.
The Argonauts are 2-4-1 in conference and 4-6-2 on the year.
Vanessa Sanchez will put pressure on the Eagles' defense with her 3.17 shot per game average. Sanchez has assisted on five goals, the second most in the PacWest to her own teammate Susan Whitney. Whitney averages 1.17 points per game and scored four goals.
Notre Dame De Namur has been limited to only one goal in its last three games, resulting in three consecutive losses for the Argonauts.
