Women's Soccer goes 1-1 on the weekend

Box Score 2 The Concordia Eagles Women's Soccer team split on the weekend, winning one and loosing one.
The week started with the win on Thursday against the Holy Names Hawks.
Morgan Serres scored in the 9
th minute, sending a deep shot into the upper left corner of the Hawks' net.
Brianna Taylor tallied her first goal when she followed up on
McKenna Carrillo's deflected shot and buried it into the net.
Carrillo contributed to the score once again on a corner kick she hooked directly into the goal.
Saturdays game gave the Eagles their second loss of the year. Fresno Pacific jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first half.
The Eagles fell behind 2-0 in the first half.
Amber Rodriguez started things off for the Sunbirds, sending a deep shot into the top left corner past Jazmin Alvarez. Rachel Anderson attacked next, scoring on a shot to the top right corner from Bianka Garcia.
Isabella Angotti-Jones shrunk the lead to one when she scored on a cross from Keely Abt. The game remained close until Alyssa Nakaguchi netted a pass from Rodriguez in the 71st minute. The final score was 3-1.
The Eagles, now 6-2-3 in the PacWest, head to St. George, Utah for their final road game of the year. Game time is set for 6 p.m. on Thursday against the Dixie State Trailblazers (7-3).
