The Concordia Women's Water polo team traveled this past Saturday February 20th, 2016 to compete against the University of La Verne Leopards. CUI splashed into the water ready to battle against ULV and competed throughout the entire match.

Goalkeeper Madelyn Knust had a strong defensive match having a combined eleven stops in all four quarters. After the first quarter Concordia began to compete at the net and had three goals, two from Emily Varisco and one from Kelsey Stumm. Three Eagles scored doubles for goals on the match. Jastine Vasquez, Kelsey Stumm and Emily Varisco kept the game close but it wasn't enough to defeat the La Verne Leopards. Two points defeated the Eagles with the box score ending at 7-9.

The Eagles will be back in the pool to compete this Friday February 26th for a home match at William Woolett Jr. Aquatics Center versus San Diego State University at 1:30pm.
