Eagles Almost Beat Seasiders, SDCC Forfeits

Despite the close loss 4-5, the Eagles put up a strong performances against BYU – Hawaii, on March 14. In the first slot, Till Guttenberger defeated Ibrahim Karmadzhe in two sets with close scores of 7-6 and 6-4. Filip Burnac took the number two slot against Volodymyr and took a commanding win 6-0 and 6-2. In the sixth slot, Harsha Manjunath bested Peng Dai with scores of 6-3 and 6-4.

In the doubles competition, Filip Burnac and Harsha Manjunath teamed up to beat Ibrahim Karmadzhe and Colton Pate in slot three with a close 9-8 victory.

On March 16th, the Eagles were supposed to take on San Diego Christian College at the Costa Mesa Tennis Center. Concordia took a 5-0 win due to a forfeit by San Diego Christian College.

The Eagles are 4-8 on the season and will compete against Holy Names on March 19th at the Costa Mesa Tennis Center in Costa Mesa, CA.
