Basketball Australia is delighted to announce 26 players have been named to the Australia Boomers Rio squad.

One of those player selected is former Concordia star Cameron Gliddon, who was named the Cairns Taipans' Most Valuable Player last season.

The year before he was the NBL Rookie of the Year and Taipans Defensive Player of the Year.

Gliddon, who played at Concordia from 2008-2012, won an NAIA National Championship at Concordia in 2012 and was voted an NAIA All-American and Tournament MVP.

A reduced squad of 16 will enter into a selection camp from July 5-10, once the Boomers commitments in the NBA and Europe conclude.
