Eagles Run Ends In PacWest Quarters, Into Consolation Semis

The Rundown: The Concordia Eagles 2016 run came to an end in the quarterfinals of the PacWest Championships on Thursday, 0-5, at the hands of the #1 seed and #1 team in the country, BYU-Hawaii Seasiders in Surprise, AZ.
By the Numbers: Johann Keeline and Samantha Schuster led early in #2 doubles, but eventually fell 8-5. Andrea Madrigal led early in #2 singles but the matchup went unfinished.
The Difference:Â The Seasiders took the 3-0 doubles lead and quickly won two singles matches.
The Eagles will face Point Loma on Friday in the Consolation Semifinals at 9 am.
