The Concordia Eagles won both matches on day two of the 26
th annual Labor Day Classic Tournament. Concordia swept both Simon Fraser and Colorado Christian and went 4-0 on the weekend.

Cindy Tran (.300) and
Hannah Andrews (.500) led the Eagles in kills with eight.
Ellie Ladensack added seven. Rachael Flynn and
Madeline Deters both had two aces. Flynn led in blocks with four and
Amber Rose had three.
Taylor Dennison made 21 digs.
The Eagles went up early in the first set and never trailed.
Hannah Andrews recorded four of her eight kills and the Eagles won 25-14. In the second set, CUI stayed out in front from the start and won 25-12.
The third set was more challenging for the Eagles, trailing 7-4 early on. Ladensack contributed a kill followed by an ace from
Kyra Auten. A kill from Flynn tied the game at 13 and Auten was set by
Erica Anthony to put the Eagles in front, 14-13.
CUI jumped out to a 20-17 advantage over the Clan and never looked back. The Eagles won the third set 25-22 and the match, 3-0.

Rachael Flynn led the Eagles with 11 kills hitting .409.
Cindy Tran had nine kills and hit .333. Ladensack added seven kills.
The Eagles won the first set 25-20 and the second 25-14.
The third set was 25-19 in favor of the Eagles.
The Eagles start off the season 4-0 after winning all four matches of the Labor Day Classic.
CUI is back in action on Monday at 1 pm in CU Arena when they take on Western New Mexico University.
