Eagles Secure PacWest Win Over Seasiders

Box Score The Concordia Men's Basketball Team's well-spread offense surged them to a PacWest win over the Seasiders Thursday night. The Eagles had six players score double digits and four others put points on the board.
The win came two nights after dropping a closely fought game against Chaminade, and advanced the Eagles to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in conference.
In the first half, the Eagles exploded to a large leading, entering half time ahead by 17. Although the Seasiders worked to reduce the Concordia lead, the Eagles 46 point second half secured a 94-83 win.
Senior Justin Davis scored 12 points with three assists and three steals. Davis made eight of 10 free throws. Case Bruton banked 12 points with two steals, one assist and six rebounds. Cameron English contributed 12 points with six rebounds, two assists and one block. Josh Hauser had 12 points, three assists, four rebounds and one steal.
Tad Dufelmeier tallied 11 points and Brian Chambers was right behind him with nine. Mike Hauser added seven with two assists.
Concordia shot 40.8 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from the three-point range. They out rebounded the Seasiders 40-32 and forced 19 turnovers.
Saturday, the Eagles conclude their Hawaiian Island tour with the Vulcans of Hawai'i Hilo. The Vulcans are 5-7 on the year and 3-3 in conference. Tip off is set for 10:30 p.m. in Hilo, Hawai'i.
