Concordia can't survive Azusa Pacific attack

Box Score The Men's Basketball Team lost a PacWest game to the Azusa Pacific Saturday, dropping the decision 84-55.
Azusa Pacific attacked the Eagles in the first half, outscoring Concordia 47-20. The Cougars were on fire from the field, succeeding 62.5 percent of the time. They also made 6 of 10 from the three point range.
The Eagles struggled with their shots, only making 1-8 from behind the arch and 25.8 percent from the field.
Although the second half was more evenly balanced, the first half difference was too substantial to turn around. Concordia posted 35 points to the Cougars' 37.
Tad Dufelmeier scored 15 points with three assists and six rebounds. Dufelmeier was the lone Eagle in double digits. Brian Chambers had three steals with seven points. Anderson Clarke led the Eagles in rebounds, adding six on offense and two on defense.
Concordia, now 14-10 and 10-6 in the PacWest, looks to rebound on Thursday Feb. 16th against Dominican University. The face the Penguins in San Rafael, Calif. at 7:30 p.m.Â
