Men's Tennis Takes a Victory Against Westmont

The Eagle Men's Tennis Team won over Westmont, 7-2, taking five single matches and two doubles matches.

Till Guttenberger got things started off early, winning consecutive sets, 6-3, and 6-4. Erik Witzlinger continued to push off the momentum, winning his sets 6-1 and 6-2. After Witzlinger's win, the Eagles won three more straight matches, headlined by Daniel Reddmann, Man Hon Ko and Thijs Hagen. Hagen finished the singles competition with an impressive 6-0 win in the last set.

Moving onto the doubles competition, the final two matches were won valiantly by the Eagles. The Man Hon Ko and Daniel Reddmann duo won 8-2 and Guttenberger and Otto Heinz won 8-4. 

The victory pushes the Eagles into next week's competition against Principia College at the home Costa Mesa Courts.
