Eagles Get a Win Over Westmont

The Eagles got a well-deserved win on the Abbot courts against Westmont College Thursday in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The Women's Team started things off by winning five out of its six singles matches.

Anastasiia Kuprina won both sets, going 6-4 and 6-2, respectively, to get things started. Luma Schwab and Johanna Keeline each won their matches with scores of 6-0 and 6-1. Kathrine Jensen knocked off her opponent and Ashley Glick capped the singles competition off with a 6-0, 6-0 win.

The Eagles continued to soar in their success, winning two out of their three doubles matches. Both doubles teams won their matches 8-1. Glick and Keeline won the second doubles flight and Luma Schwab and Taylor Touchstone's victory concluded the competition.

Concordia plays again on Saturday at 10 a.m. against Academy of Art at the Costa Mesa Tennis Courts.
