Women’s Water Polo Drops game to Hartwick

The Concordia Women's Water Polo team dropped a match to Hartwick College on Thursday by a score of 12-4.
The Eagles struck first as a goal from
Emily Varisco gave Concordia a 1-0 lead to start the first quarter. Hartwick answered back with three goals to end the quarter leading 3-1.
Shannon Graham scored the second Eagle goal with 6:10 remaining in the third quarter. Hartwick continued their offensive charge and held a 9-2 lead at the end of the third quarter.
Concordia tried to make a comeback in the fourth quarter, but goals from
Katharine Leese and
Elena Isogawa were not enough to overcome Hartwick.
The Eagles drop to 7-12 on the season and face Brown on Friday in Irvine. The game is set to start at 1:30 p.m.
