The #2 Men's Lacrosse team squared off against 10th ranked Cal State Fullerton for their annual rivalry game on Wednesday night. The Eagles used an early 5 goal run to create separation and cruised to a 14-5 win.

Cal State Fullerton's game plan on the night was to control possession and they executed to perfection on the opening drive of the game. Fullerton held the ball on offense for over 3 minutes on their opening possession before Logan Perry generated a turnover and took it coast to coast for the Eagles first goal. After another lengthy Cal State Fullerton possession, the Eagles forced a turnover and Zach Hodge found the back of the net to put Concordia up 2-0.  Andrew Blume, Max Satossky and Sean Goodell followed suit to balloon the Eagle lead to 5-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Despite the early success, the Eagles struggled to get going offensively in the second quarter, allowing Fullerton to shut them out while giving up 2 goals defensively. The Eagles went into halftime with a 5-2 lead.

The Eagles found their stride in the second half though, firing off a scoring barrage of 9 goals to just 3 allowed. When the dust settled, Concordia took the game 14-5. The win marked the 6th straight victory over Cal State Fullerton, and improves their overall record to 10-6 against the Titans.
