PacWest Tennis Championships set in Surprise Arizona

The Men's and Women's Tennis Teams are in Surprise. Ariz. this week for the PacWest Championships. After finishing their regular season with a 9-0 sweep of Biola University, the Men's Team is eager to conquer the eight-team field. The Women are looking to bounce back after a 9-0 loss to Point Loma in their regular season finale in their 12 team bracket.
The Men
The Eagles kick off the tournament on Thursday with the quarter finals. Azusa Pacific enters the tournament at the No. 1 seed, but BYU-Hawai'i will attempt to defend its four straight PacWest Titles. Concordia is ranked No. 5 and faces off with Hawai'i Hilo, the No. 4 seed. When the two teams met earlier in the year, the Vulcans defeated Concordia 3-6.
The Women
After finishing conference play 11-10, the Eagles earned a No. 8 ranking. They begin the tournament against Dominican University on Tuesday at 9 a.m. If the Eagles take down the Penguins, they will meet up with the top seed BYU-Hawaii.
The tournament runs from April 19th-22 at the Racquet Center in Surprise, Ariz.
