Men's Tennis vanquished by Vulcans at PacWest Championships

The Men's Tennis Team lost its opening match of the PacWest Tournament to the University of Hawai'i Hilo Vulcans Thursday in Surprise, Ariz.
Concordia entered the match with a No. 6 regional and No.23 national ranking. The Vulcans held the No. 5 regional and No. 40 national spot. 
The Vulcans vanquished the Eagles in doubles play, winning three of three matches. The lone Eagle victory came in singles competition when Man Hon Ko took down Bruno Figlia 6-3, 6-1.
Erik Witzlinger, Daniel Reddmann and Thijs Hagen's matches were unfinished.
Friday, the Eagles will meet the Sonoma State Seawolves in the consolation round. The two teams played in February and Concordia claimed the game 7-2.
