The Women's Water Polo Team capped off its 2017 season with games against Cal Baptist and LMU.
Thursday, the Eagles lost 10-3 to the Lancers in Riverside, Calif.
The Eagles scored the first goal of the day on a shot from Hanna Jordan. Then, Cal Baptist went on a three-goal streak to take the lead entering the second quarter. Throughout the second, the Lancer scoring continued. They jumped to a 7-1 lead before Shannon Graham got a goal to reduce the lead to five.  Kelley Geurts scored the last Eagle goal in the fourth, but it wasn't enough to combat the CBU win.
Saturday, the Eagles traveled to Los Angeles to face No. 21 LMU. The teams battled in the first quarter, with LMU pulling ahead to a slim 3-2 lead. After shutting the Eagles down in the second, they went on to score seven more goals. Concordia added a goal in both the third and fourth quarter, but couldn't catch up to LMU.
Graham, Corbin Bricks, Jade Jette and Lindsey Heaney had the Eagle Goals. Madelynn Knust saved four shots.
The Eagles finished the season 7-19.Â
