Eagle alumnus Cameron Gliddon to represent Australia at 2017 FIBA Asia Cup

Concordia Irvine Basketball alumnus Cameron Gliddon was selected to a 12 man team that will represent Australia at the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup held in Lebanon from Aug. 8th-20th.
The Boomers includes players from all Australian NBL clubs and includes two Olympians.
Gliddon, who currently plays for Cairns Taipans, competed for the Eagles from 2008-2012. The 6'5" athlete played in 35 games as a freshman for Concordia, averaged 9.6 points per game and was second in three-pointers made (65). In his second year in green and gold, he started 26 games and led the GSAC conference in three-pointers with 85, good enough to tie for sixth in school history. From 2010-2011, Gliddon recorded 41 steals and hit double digit points 16 times. In his senior season, he started 38-38 competitions, scored 553 points and averaged 14.6 per game.
The Boomers will be in camp until July 27th when  they will embark to Beirut, Lebanon on Aug. 2nd for a series of practices and a practice game before the first official matchup on August 8th.
