Kennedy Fulcher has provided steady play for the Eagles throughout her debut season, and Thursday, she did it once more. Fulcher found a way in the low scoring game against Notre Dame de Namur, posting a double-doule to push Concordia past the Argonauts 54=53.
Eagle Eye: Fulcher talled 17 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Michaela Vanderklugt had 14 with eight rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Concordia comes back: The Argonauts got off to an early lead with a 7-0 scoring run before Vanderklugt got the Eagles on the board. NDNU's offense continued to roll, ending the first quarter up 22-10. In the second, the Eagles staged a comeback, outscoring their opponnet 17-9. Vanderklugt made a three-pointer on the pass from
Reilly Walsh to get things going and Fulcher found success on three-straight layups to get within eight. Walters netted two shots in three-point territory to reduce the NDNU lead to four entering halftime.
The battle between the two teams ensued throughout the third.
Portia Neale and Fulcher made layups to even the game at 31-31, but the Argonauts rebuilt a six point lead at the end of the third. With 10 to go, the Eagles exploded out of the gates. Neale sent a three-pointer through the hoop and
Riley Friauf posted six consecutive points for the Concordia lead. With 1:36 to play, NDNU tied the game at 53. Friauf was sent to the line, and hit one of two shots for the one point lead and Concordia fought off the Argonauts to claim the victory.
What's Next: Saturday, CUI plays its final game of the regular season against Academy of Art at 1 p.m. The Eagles are now 16-9 and 13-6 in conference. Concordia clinched a berth to the PacWest Tournament with a victory over Domincan University this week.
