The Eagles drove up the coast to Santa Monica to play two matches against the #16 and #19 ranked teams in the NCAA.
 
The Eagles lost to #16 Loyola Marymount going 0-5. The first duo was Tristan Self /Vanessa Bernzen against McKayla Ferris/Savannah Slattery where the Eagles lost in two sets with scores 18-21, 12-21. Riley Gill/Avery Keathley were next up in the No. 2 slot that lost to Jessie Prichard/Sara Kovac, 13-21, 14-21. Marcela Frazzoni/Kyra Auten put up a fight playing Veronica Nederend/Emma Dowd in the first set falling short 18-21 and could not hang on in the second set 11-21. Jessica Diederich/Asia O'Neil lost to Bozena Culo/Maddie Liephardt with scores 11-21 and 16-21. Kekela Hendrickson/Julia Denboer and Chloe Renig/Kekai Whitford played the last slot with scores 8-21 and 13-21.
 
Next up was against #19 St. Mary's College where the Eagles went 0-5. Tristan Self/Vanessa Bernzen lost to Payton Rund/Morgan Hughes in two sets, 11-21, 12-21. The second slot was played against Emily Bible/Lindsay Knusdon with scores 12-21, 14-21. Marcela Frazzoni/Kyra Auten lost to Sarah Chase/Mary Hernandez, 11-21, 13-21. The fourth slot, Jessica Diederich/Asia O'Neil put up a tough fight in the second set to take Kelsey Knudson/Lindsay Calvin to a third set, but ultimately fell short 6-21, 20-22. The last slot, Kekela Hendrickson/Julia Denboer played against Alex O'Sullivan/Madison Baumann, ending with scores 15-21, 17-21.
 
The Eagles are now 3-8 on the season and will face CSUN no April 5^th at 11AM.
