IRVINE, Calif. - Concordia women's beach volleyball played the last two regular season games against Cal State Los Angeles and San Diego Mesa College. The Code Yellow games also acknowledged their two seniors,
Kit McCarty and
Hanna Wilson Saturday morning. The Eagles were able to finish out their season strong defeating Cal State LA 4-1 and San Diego Mesa College 5-0.

Hailee Ryan started things off for the Eagles taking the Golden Eagles to three sets. Bock and McCarty battled in the first set, but could not overcome CSULA, losing the first set by a close 20-22. The duo was able to battle back in the second set, taking the Golden Eagles 21-18 and forcing them to a third set. Despite the great efforts from Bock and McCarty, CSULA prevailed and finished the match by a close score 13-15 making this match the only loss for CUI all day. Keathley and Ryan finised the first set 21-17, while the Golden Eagles took the second set 19-21. Keathley and Ryan were down 10-13 in the third set and fought their way back to earn the next five points and finish out the set 15-13.
The next three match-ups against Cal State LA was no match for Concordia as these matches would end up in their favor winning in two sets.

Maddy Clark had a dominating performance, finishing the sets with both scores under ten points, 21-9 and 21-6.

Veronica Wood won 21-12 and 21-14 with the final match coming from
Hanna Wilson/
Vanessa Bernzen ending the match with scores 21-7 and 21-13.

The Eagles continued their momentum on the sand to face the Olympians with a dominating performance only dropping one set. Bock and McCarty came out strong in the first flight winning 21-13. San Diego Mesa came back to win the second set 18-21, but the duo never let up and finished the third set 15-12.
The last four flights finished out strong for the Eagles and had strong performances in every aspect of offense and defensive plays. Keathley and Ryan were in the second flight winning 21-19 and 21-16, while O'Neil and Clark finished with scores 21-12 and 21-17. Brown and Wood showed a dominating performance in the fourth flight finishing both sets 21-15. Wilson and Bernzen finished the day for the Eagles with a 21-11 and 21-4 win over the Olympians.
