The Eagles were in control of both games on Wednesday pounding out 34 hits in a pair of blowout victories.  On Thursday, CUI came out on top again in the last doubleheader of the year by sweeping the Hawks 4-3 and 5-2. With the four road wins this week, the Green and Gold passed both Biola and Fresno Pacific to finish one game ahead of both schools.

With two outs in top of ninth, Grimes hit a single and stole second to put a himself in scoring position. Donovan would reach on an error by the Hawks second baseman to keep the Eagles momentum going. Lautz put up an RBI bunt to bring Grimes home and give Concordia the 4-3 lead.
