RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Eagles outshot the Lancers of California Baptist University 33-28 but fell to the Lancers by a final score of 15-10.

Maruis Jakimcikas had another strong performance for the Eagles, scoring four goals and recorded two steals over the course of 32 minutes, bringing his season total to 42 goals.  He is now 9 goals shy of passing Angel Rojas (50) for the record for most recorded goals scored in a single season.  

Concordia had contributions from five other Eagles on the scoreboard.  Cullen Mooers stopped six shots in his twelfth start of the year.  

California Baptist received goals from eight players.  Joseph Galgani lead the way with five of his own.

The teams were tied 3-3 after the first quarter but the Lancers took control in the second, scoring six goals to the Eagles one, taking a 9-4 lead into the break.  

The Eagles fought back in the third quarter, cutting the Lancers lead to three but were unable to overcome the Lancers in the fourth quarter.

Patrik Zsiros scored in the third quarter, bringing his career total to 100 goals.  He is now four goals away from passing Spencer Hosch (103) for most recorded goals in Concordia University Irvine history.
