IRVINE, Calif. - Fans will now get three chances to watch the Concordia University Irvine women's volleyball team in action during the first weekend in November.

CUI has changed the start times of its home matches against the Holy Names Hawks (Nov. 5) and Dominican Penguins (Nov. 6).  This is partly to accommodate a make-up game that is being added with Dominican as part of a doubleheader that Saturday after CUI and Dominican were unable to play their game up in Northern California back on Sept. 17.

Here are the updated changes:

Friday, Nov. 5 - Holy Names at CUI - Game 1 of doubleheader  - start time is moved up to 5 pm (previously was scheduled for 7 pm)
Saturday, Nov. 6* - Dominican at CUI - Game 1 of doubleheader - start time is moved up to 12 pm (previously was scheduled for 2pm)
Saturday, Nov. 6* - Dominican at CUI - Game 2 of doubleheader - start time will be 6 pm* (make-up date from postponed 9/17 match)

*Fans who purchase tickets for the doubleheader between CUI and Dominican on Saturday, Nov. 6 will only need to purchase tickets once.*

Concordia University Irvine recently changed its policy regarding masks for indoor sporting events. In light of the low campus and local infection rates, fully vaccinated students, employees and campus guests are no longer required to wear masks indoors as of Saturday, Oct. 16. However, all students, employees and campus guests who are Not fully vaccinated are to continue to wear face coverings in all indoor campus settings, per OCHC guidance.
