IRVINE, Calif. – After helping CUI post sweeps over Fresno Pacific and , senior setter Brianna Latigue has been named the PacWest Player of the Week.

Latigue handed out a whopping 44 assists in just three sets this past Thursday in CUI's 3-0 victory over the Sunbirds.

She came right back on Saturday to notch 29 helpers in CUI's 3-0 win over Academy of Art. She averaged 12.2 assists per set in Concordia's two home victories last week.

Coupled with Monday night's huge 3-0 victory over the University of Hawai'i Hilo, Latigue has now helped the Eagles post four straight sweeps to open their nine-game homestand.

The Eagles hit .349 as a team against the Vulcans and took control of the contest in the second set by pulling away 25-16.

The Green and Gold host Chaminade in another key match on Tuesday, Oct 26 and also Hawaii Pacific on Friday, Oct. 29 as they look to emerge among the top teams in the PacWest Conference standings.
