Box Score IRVINE, Calif. – Jeff Runyan scored four times on Friday in a defensive struggle with the Santa Clara Broncos

Runyan put the Eagles on the board in the first quarter after the Eagles drew a penalty. He converted the 5-meter with ease and put the Eagles up 1-0.

Shako Khizanishvili found Runyan for a sweet connection in the second half to keep the Green and Gold in it.  Austin Wade also followed suit with a snazzy assist to CUI's leading scorer.

Jacob Stuart found Callin Chimilar for a tally in the first half as well.

Hunter Osgood made some thrilling stops including back-to-back saves at point-blank range in the second half. 

Unfortunately for the home squad, Santa Clara pulled away in the second half and emerged with a 13-5 victory.
