Box Score IRVINE, Calif. - It was a bittersweet game on Saturday for women's soccer as they ended their season against the visiting Sunbirds of FPU, celebrating the incredible careers of seven senior Eagles.

The following seniors were celebrated for their valued time, effort, and upstanding dedication to the program, team institution, and themselves; Carmany Jones, Danni Barton, Molly Melanson, Emma Lyon, Kayla Figueroa, Alona Aguilera, and Raynee Odell.

The Eagles looked to send these seniors off with a final win for their careers. Luckily, they were able to do just that, maintaining a single-goal advantage after Sophie Munoz scored a cheeky right-footed chip over the FPU keeper in the 29th minute.

CUI continued to outshoot the visitors twenty-nine shots to seven, with Jadenn Carrillo creating seven shots of her own throughout the match, with Danni Barton and Sophie Munoz finding their offensive prowess with four shots. 

Hailey Asato made four immense saves in the match, securing her final clean sheet, ending the 2021 season with seven clean sheets, showing her dominant stature in goal.
