IRVINE, Calif. – In compliance with the recent announcement from the California Department of Public Health, please remember that masks are required to be worn by all guests regardless of vaccination status for our upcoming CUI home games inside CU Arena starting on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

All guests are required to wear masks whenever they are inside any buildings on campus.

The California mask mandate was put in to place to help combat the increase in COVID-19 case rates and hospitalizations in the state. Concordia University Irvine will have this rule in place through at least February 15 per state guidelines.

The CUI women's basketball team hosts three games over winter break, including a 2 p.m. game this Saturday, Dec. 18 against Central Washington, which will be the first game since this change.

**Admission is free** for guests during winter break beginning with the women's game against CWU. Fans can also watch the action on the video live stream and follow along with the live stats by CLICKING HERE.

The CUI men's basketball team will join the women in hosting Dominican on Monday, Dec. 20 as part of a PacWest Conference doubleheader.  The women play at 1 p.m. and the men will follow at 3:30 p.m. Again admissions is free to both those games, as well as the hoops doubleheader at CUI on New Year's Day when the Eagles welcome their rivals from Point Loma.

In addition, our CUI men's volleyball team begins a new era on Monday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. against St. Xavier. This will be the home opener for the Eagles under new head coach Riley Salmon and will also be held on the first day of classes for the 2022 spring semester.
