IRVINE, Calif. – Concordia University Irvine ended even with Biola going 2-2 during the 2020-21 season.
With regular season at an end the Green and Gold have an overall record of 7-7. CUI had a difficult time finding the net in the first three quarters but they dominated the fourth quarter winning it 25-15. However, the damage done early on created a deficit too deep to comeback from. The final score was 84-67 with the Biola win.
Savannah Felix-Amoroso earned a new career high with 16 points!
Katie Timmerman led the Eagles again as she scored 21 points. Timmerman averaged
26.5 points in the back-to-back games against Biola. Michaela VanderKlugt filled the stat sheet as she added 11 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
Edina Del Rosario earned her season high seven assists as she read the floor well and got her teammates the ball in great positions to score.
The Green and Gold await their fate to see if they get ranked within the top six of the West Region in order to continue their season into the regional playoffs. CUI had been
ranked No. 24 in the nation earlier in the season and are hoping they have done enough to keep their season going.
