LA MIRADA, Calif. – The PacWest battle of the Eagles ended 1-1 for the weekend with the second game being 45-62 for Biola.

The Green and Gold had a rough night offensively which is a rare occasion for them. They have been shooting lights out this season according to their percentages. With CUI struggling to find the net they tried to amp up their defensive efforts and had three solid quarters of defense. The fourth quarter was the best performance as CUI scored 17 points and held Biola to 11. Unfortunately, it was just a little too late as the damage had already been set.

Kennedy Fulcher led the team as she earned her third double-double this season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Fulcher was also able to protect the rim as she knocked away a couple Biola shots earning her two blocks. Michaela VanderKlugt scored double digits for the sixth game in a row by earning 10 points today. VanderKlugt also earned three steals and eight boards.

The CUI Eagles are looking to bounce back and start a new win streak next week on Feb. 12 at 2:00 pm. against PLNU in CU Arena!
