GLENDORA, Calif. - The Concordia women's water polo finished their season this morning playing No. 19 Azusa Pacific. The Cougars finished the game with a final score 12-6 and a win over the Eagles.
Madison Ravelo tried to get things started for the Eagles in the first quarter with a shot towards the cage but the shot hit the post and CUI was scoreless in the first.
Right out of the gates in the second, Ravelo sores the first goal for the Eagles.
Kim Reidel showed an impressive performance scoring three goals before the half. Going into the half the Eagles had a tied score with the Cougars 4-4.
APU took charge in the third and scored six goals while keeping CUI scoreless for another quarter. In the fourth,
Farrah Martin and Reidel scores the two goals for the Eagles.
Tatiana Cava played in the net for the Eagles and racked up 11 saves while five different Eagles had one steal each.
The Green and Gold finished the season with 2-6 record and earned their first GCC conference win over Santa Clara.
