Updated Spectator Policy: CUI Allowing Up To 500 Fans Inside CU Arena

IRVINE, Calif. - Starting with the Concordia University Irvine basketball doubleheader on Thursday, Jan. 27 against Chaminade, up to 500 spectators will be allowed to attend home games in CU Arena.

This updated policy affects home men's and women's basketball, men's volleyball and STUNT games hosted at Concordia.

The updated spectator policy goes into effect also just in time for CUI Athletics to celebrate Homecoming and the induction of the 2022 Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, Jan. 29 before the Eagles play a doubleheader against Hawai'i Pacific.

MASK POLICY:

As a reminder, Masks ARE required for all guests inside all buildings on CUI's campus - including CU Arena for all our home basketball, volleyball and STUNT games. This rule will be enforced and any guest not wearing their mask in compliance with our California state guidelines will be asked to either put on a mask or to leave the building with no exceptions.

This policy is in place through at least Feb. 15 for guests inside all buildings on Concordia's campus per state guidelines regarding COVID-19 and the health and safety of all guests, student-athletes, coaches, officials and staff.
