SAN MARCOS, Calif. - For the second straight meeting, the Concordia University Irvine men's volleyball team finished off a sweep of the University of Saint Katherine Firebirds.
Faced with their first road contest of the year, the Eagles cruised to a 25-12, 25-17, 25-17 victory to improve to 4-0 on the young season.
In a match that saw an assortment of lineups,
Logan Glave,
Will Migdal and
Mason Mullins each placed five kills in Friday's victory.
Setters
McLain Mott and
Christos Gkitersos combined for 30 assists and put the Eagles in solid position as they compiled a .359 hitting percentage on the night.
Glave and
Kobe Kiley teamed up for four digs apiece to lead the back row.
Next up for the Green and Gold is a date with the UC San Diego Tritons over in La Jolla, Calif. on Friday, Feb. 4.
The next home match for the Eagles will be a conference affair when CUI hosts UCLA on Friday, Feb. 25 at CU Arena.
