Box Score Irvine, Calif. - On Wednesday evening, the Concordia University Irvine men's water polo was on the "road" for a matchup against local UC Irvine.

In the battle between the two Irvine universities, UCI was entering the contest ranked No. 9 in the country while the Golden Eagles looked to build some momentum coming off the Gary Troyer Tournament. After a strong first half, UCI was able to swim away to a 21-12 victory.

The Golden Eagles' offense was led by Austin Wade, who scored three goals. Harry Bentham and Jacob Stuart also were able to get themselves on the scoreboard with a pair of goals respectively. Meanwhile Shaine Sargis, Connor McElwee, Dawson Brummett, Kevin Shearer, and Xander Luckett each scored one goal.
