BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – After dominating their opponents earlier in the week, the Concordia beach volleyball team looked to continue their momentum into Saturday. The Eagles started the day by playing against The Master's again and left them scoreless. Next up was the host team Cal State Bakersfield that came close and went in favor of the Roadrunners with a final score 2-3.
 
After playing The Master's earlier this month, the Eagles knew their competition and was able to use that in their favor to keep them scoreless. The Mustangs were not able to take a set off one of the five flights.
 
The host team challenged the Eagles where Cary and Bush finished the first match for the Eagles that came up with a big win. The duo lost the first set by just two points and were able to come back and win the next two. Ryan and Ostojic dominated in the third slot holding their opponents under 15 points in each set. t ultimately came down to the first flight as the sore remained tied at 2-2 after the other four slots were done. Phair and Bernzen put up a battle for the Roadrunners and both sets were close by two points.

The Eagles advance to 10-2 on the season and will play on the road at Northridge, Calif. and play Nebraska at 1 p.m. and then the host team Northridge at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 17.
