IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine beach volleyball team continues to shine with racking up another two wins over Life Pacific and Marymount. The Eagles were able to keep both teams scoreless and earning two sweeps.
In the first game of the day, four of the flights took the Warriors to only two sets. Clifton and Highstreet went three sets, but came back after losing the first set. They were able to defeat Life Pacific the following two sets with dominating scores keeping them under five points.
The next match-up was no different as the Green and Gold continued their momentum and swept Marymount. The flights were kept to two sets and did not allow them to score more than 13 points in a set. Three of the flights kept the Mariners under 10 points for both sets and did not allow them to go on any runs to take a dominating win.
