Irvine, Calif.- CUI women's volleyball senior outside hitter
Kirra Schulz earned PacWest Player of the Week for this week's athletics awards. The Golden Eagles are about to start their second leg of the season and Schulz has continued to put up big numbers for the Green and Gold leading the PacWest in total kills entering the month of October.
In Saturday's match against the Sea Lions, Schulz racked up her 11
th double double of the season with 18 kills and 14 digs in the match. The senior has already tallied up 173 digs and 206 kills this season, averaging around 14 kills a match and 12 digs a match.

Schulz mentions, "I couldn't do it without the help of my amazing team. I'm so honored to have earned this achievement and can't wait to see what the rest of the season looks like for us."
CUI is currently 3-3 in conference play and 7-7 overall on the season. The Golden Eagles are on the hunt for more wins as they take on Azusa Pacific on October 10, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
