Sophomore
Connor Gleason had himself a night Thursday against Hawaii Pacific. The Mission Viejo native went a solid 7 for 8 from the field while going a perfect 2 for 2 from deep. The 16-point outing is Gleason's career high.
The Golden Eagles were led in scoring by freshman standout
Jackson Tucker who dropped 24 points on the Sharks. Tucker found himself at the free throw line a lot going 8 for 9, and he also dished out a game high five assists.
CUI led the Sharks in bench scoring getting six points from both senior
Kai Parham and junior
Kendall McHugh. Parham and McHugh each had two 3-pointers on the night. Sophomore
Reed Gutierrez came in towards the end of the game and also knocked one down from deep.
The Green and Gold wrap up their season this Saturday Feb. 25 when they host Azusa Pacific at 3 p.m. for Senior Day.
