SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The Concordia University beach volleyball team played against two ranked teams on Sunday as a make-up day due to inclement weather on Friday.
 
 
Cal 5, CUI 0
 
Duo Eva Prewitt and Kelissa Lemoine came out fighting in their first match of the day against Cal as they almost took their opponent to a third set but just came up short by a close 19-21 score.

LMU 5, CUI 0
 
The first flight put up a fight against LMU as they came within just a couple points in each set. Sara Ostojic and Hailee Ryan had an intense first set against LMU as they went to an impressive 31-33 score but ultimately lost in two sets.

The Golden Eagles will host Westcliff and Arizona Christian in their home opener of the season with start times slated at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
