LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The CUI beach volleyball team continue play this weekend as they compete in the Battle of LA against ranked teams. The Golden Eagles started with No. 2 USC and finished play against No. 16 Long Beach State .
 
 
Ostojic and Smith came out with a win against Long Beach State and did not allow their opponent to reach 15 points in either set. Duo Lemoine and Prewitt came close in the first set only falling by two points but The Beach secured the win over the Golden Eagles in the fifth slot.

The Golden Eagles will finish at the Battle of LA on Sunday Mar. 12 as they take on No. 6 GCU at a new time of 10 a.m. and No. 8 LMU for the third time this season.
