IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine beach volleyball team traveled down the street to play at Irvine Valley College. CUI started the day playing against Florida International for the first time in program history followed by Hope International for the second time in the beach volleyball era.
The first game of the day comes as a new competitor since the two have never competed against each other. Florida International was able to come out with a 5-0 win over Concordia. The first slot with Phair and Ostojic won the first set but fell short in the next two.
The next match-up was against Hope International and the Golden Eagles remain undefeated against the Royals in the two contests they have been in. CUI won in just two sets in all slots. HIU came close in the second slot only to trail by a couple points.

The Golden Eagles will face off against Saint Katherine and Cal State Northridge at the Great Park on Saturday, Apr. 1 with start times at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
