The 13-year losing streak to the Cougars is officially over! The Golden Eagles won 5-2 on their home court Friday afternoon.

CUI got the match started off on the right foot as they took the doubles point giving them an early 1-0 lead. Graduate students Leon Czarnikau and Tim Nutz were victorious 6-4 as well as the freshman duo of Julius Seifert and Alex Edmonston.

Graduate student James Caddies and senior Adam Large showed veteran leadership during their singles match outlasting their opponents in two sets.

The Golden Eagles return to action hosting Hawaii Pacific March 8 at 12 p.m.
