SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Concordia University beach volleyball team finished their regular season at in Sacramento on Saturday with two wins earning their fourth win in a row. The Golden Eagles competed against St. Mary's and San Francisco and reached their first win over each team.
 
The first game of the day was a battle as CUI won by just one point. The fourth slot prevailed over a tough match against the Gaels. Souza and Bush closed out each set by just two points while going the distance to three sets.
 
San Francisco put up a tough match for the three of the slots as those went to three sets but the Golden Eagles were able to come out on top with the wins. Ryan and Smith made adjustments after the second set to win the third by a close 15-12. Souza and Bush lost the first set but came back to win the next two in the fourth slot for the Green and Gold.

The Golden Eagles will be in Taveres, Florida as they will compete in the AVCA Small College Championships starting on Apr. 14.
