Burnaby, British Columbia - In a hard-fought contest, the CUI women's basketball team came up just short, falling to the Nighthawks from NNU with a final score of 64-77. There were a few standout performances on the day, including Senior Erika Maggard who hit another career high of 22 points, and also had six rebounds. Just ten days ago, Maggard previously set her career high to 19. Maggard also had a team-high in steals with four. A familiar name of Izzy Navarro had 13 points on the day, and following in her footsteps closely is Maggie Teven with eight points. Although there were some standout Golden Eagles during the game, the Nighthawks were able to take an early surge of momentum.
